Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki, an American political advisor, served as the 34th White House Press Secretary from 2021 to 2022. She is a part of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009) as well as the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011) as well as the spokesperson for the US Department of State (2013-15) and as the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was an CNN political commentator from 2017 until 2020. Psaki began her career in 2001, as an official political contributor for CNN. She was involved in the campaign for re-election of Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack (Iowa Governor). Psaki was later appointed as the deputy press secretary for John Kerry's presidential campaign in 2004. Psaki was also the communications director of Joseph Crowley, a U.S. Representative, as well as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 until the year 2006. Psaki was named the press secretary of President Obama's election campaign. 20 years ago, Psaki was named as spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11 2013. [20] There was speculation that she was to replace Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary at the Department of State.[21However, Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30 in 2014. The White House welcomed her back to the White House in 2015 as the director of communications, and she was there until the closing of the Obama presidency.
