Terrina Chrishell

Terrina Chrishell Stause[1] (born July 21st 1981) is an American actress. Her most well-known role is her role on Selling Sunset, a Netflix reality series. Her prior roles include Amanda Dillon (All My Children) and Jordan Ridgeway (Days of Our Lives). Stause was born in Draffenville, Kentucky. She received her B.A. from Murray State University. She was an actor in the theater in 2003. The name she uses for her middle name "Chrishell" is an acronym derived from the word "chrishell" due to the peculiar circumstances surrounding her birth: her mother went into labor at an Shell station, with an attendant named Chris was able to deliver the baby. Strause dispels reports of her child's birth in her book. Strause spoke out about her mother's car troubles, and pulled into an auto-gas station. As she waited at the station, she went into pre-labor, and the attendant at the car was genuinely helpful in getting her to an emergency room. Strause was born in the hospital. Her mother divorced from her biological father who was half Japanese and half Spanish before she knew she was expecting. Jeff is her stepfather. Chrishell Strause missed middle school for a full year because she was forced to live in the shelter of a tent. Strause remembered washing her hair in a river, taking food stamps and hiding her real identity from her classmates. When she was 10, parents battled addiction and mental illness. She joined the Worldwide Church of God for some period of time. Her mother never had an employment that was steady and Strause describes her as having a free spirit and self-righteous.
